Mr. Álvaro Núñez, a comic book and children story book illustrator, visited our School and told us a GREAT STORY through images.
Lucas, the Pirate Captain´s son, did not want to be a PIRATE.

Arrggghhh, this is a DISASTER!!!! - said the Captain.





Here we are!!

Lucas wanted to be a CHEF but his father wanted him to became next Captain. Then ... "You can tell the story  to your families!!!"

Last day was dedicated to Literature.

We celebrated a "Story Book" Contest and some of our friends won the prize.

They were so pleased!!

St.Patrick´s Day





Leprechaun with a shamrock and a pot full of gold.
Duende con un trébol y un caldero lleno de oro.

On March 17th, Irish people celebrate St.Patrick´s Day.
El 17 de marzo, los irlandeses celebran en día de San Patricio.

The three colours of the Irish flag are GREEN, ORANGE and WHITE.
Los tres colores de la bandera irlandesa son VERDE, NARANJA y BLANCO.

If you look the poster closer you will see photoes of a traditional parade, a boy dressed up like a leprechaun, a special meal to celebrate this day, girls dancing the Irish dancing, a pint of Guiness beer and a big shamrock.
Si miras el poster más cerca verás fotografías de un desfile tradicional, un niño disfrazado de duende, una comida especial para celebrar este día, niñas bailando la danza tradicional irlandesa, una pinta de cerveza Guiness y un gran trébol.

Teacher Fiona told us St. Patrick´s legend in Great Britain.
La profesora Fiona nos contó la leyendade San Patricio en las tierras del Reino Unido.
